Express Employment Professionals is looking for a Warehouse Manager.
Responsibilities
- This position is primarily responsible for maximum production at the lowest cost in accordance with established schedules
- The Manager is responsible for scheduling the work of all warehouse personnel during its shift ensuring that all shipments and customer orders are accurately cut, packed, shipped and timely released
- The incumbent is expected to work hands-on during the shift and will assist in making personnel decisions including recommendations for hiring, terminations, training, safety, etc
- He will also be required to operate a forklift
- Performs all work in a safe manner; promotes and fosters a safe work environment
- Coordinates work closely with Quality Control to ensure maximum quality
- Understands and applies all policies and procedures, including Human Resources, operational, fire prevention, and safety
- Handles employee issues at first level
- Recommends/administers corrective action when necessary
- Oversees in-depth investigation of incidents and accidents
- As follow-up, confers with Production Manager to determine necessity of additional training and/or equipment modification
- Maintains production records and shift logs
- Processes payroll in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintains accurate attendance records
- Issues attendance warning letters and notifies HR when employees reach maximum attendance points
- Leads and participates in safety and production meetings
- Manages shift staffing and assignment of job tasks
- Assists in inventory management, stock counts, SAP corrections, etc.
