Express Employment Professionals is seeking a full-time, direct-hire Project Financial Manager for a large, established, and growing manufacturing company!
Position Summary:
- This role leads a team in managing project accounting, financial planning, and performance monitoring throughout the project lifecycle. The Project Financial Manager ensures compliance with company policies and industry standards while driving efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires expertise in financial risk analysis, budget optimization, and contract negotiations to support the organization's financial health and strategic objectives.
Position Details:
- Salary Range - $130,000/year - $150,000/year
- Relocation Package – this will be offered for out-of-state candidates.
- Schedule – Monday – Friday – 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Location – Lake Mary, FL
- Full-time, direct-hire position.
- On-site, in-office position.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Managing a team of 4 – 6 analysts.
- Managing a large book of business, handling 18 – 30 customers with large projects.
- Oversee project accounting activities, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize project budgets and maximize cost efficiency.
- Conduct a financial risk analysis to assess potential impacts and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Participate in project meetings, including kick-offs and status updates, to proactively address financial concerns.
Requirements:
- Required - Bachelor’s Degree – Finance/Business
- Required - 8 years of experience required in a similar role.
- Required - POC (Percentage of Completion) experience.
- Required - Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Required – Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Preferred - Background in Construction, Engineering, and/or Manufacturing.
