Job Full Description
SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Rebar Fabricator. In this role, you will be responsible for bending, cutting, bundling, and loading reinforcing steel bars according to customer orders. The position requires operating various machines and tools, including shearing and bending machines, overhead cranes, and Fabmatic machines, as well as ensuring all materials are properly handled and organized for shipping.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Rebar Fabrication Tasks
- Unload trailers and store materials in storage bins.
- Operate shearing machines to cut reinforcing steel bars to specified lengths.
- Use bending machines to shape reinforcing steel bars to required specifications.
- Operate overhead cranes to move, assemble, and select materials for fabrication and shipment.
- Assemble and load orders onto trailers for shipping.
- Operate power saws for cutting steel bars to specified lengths.
- Apply epoxy touch-ups to reinforcing steel bars using a spray gun.
- Inventory and Equipment Maintenance
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Assist with tool and material organization to ensure efficient operation.
- Check and ensure proper functioning of equipment and tools used in fabrication.
- Team Collaboration and Assistance
- Work as part of a team to meet production goals.
- Assist other team members in their tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- High school diploma, GED, or local/state equivalent required.
- Basic math skills are essential for calculating bar measurements.
- Ability to work safely with machinery and handle physical labor tasks.
- Must be able to work overtime and handle various shifts, including early morning or weekend shifts as needed.
- Must be able to lift heavy materials and work in noisy, dusty, and sometimes extreme temperature conditions.

Pay: $17 per hour (starting)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (overtime and Saturday work may be required)
