SUMMARY:
A well-established property management company is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The technician will be responsible for the maintenance of 99 units at the primary property and 16 units at secondary property. This position requires a hands-on individual who is proficient in performing repairs such as plumbing, drywall patching, minor electrical work, and handling AC units that use Freon. The role also involves inventory management and daily communication with the property manager.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintenance Tasks
- Perform general maintenance duties such as fixing leaks, patching drywall, and conducting minor electrical repairs.
- Troubleshoot and repair AC units using Freon.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the property is in good working order.
2. Inventory Management
- Check in and out tools from the leasing office as needed, following inventory procedures.
- Ensure proper handling of master keys by checking them in and out with the property manager each day.
3. Property Upkeep
- Maintain the appearance and functionality of all units through routine maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure common areas and properties are clean and well-kept.
- Paint and complete small repairs to improve property aesthetics.
4. Communication and Reporting
- Report to the leasing office each day to obtain the work order list and daily tasks.
- Communicate any issues, updates, or repairs needed to the property manager in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license is required.
- EPA certification is preferred.
- Must have your own tools; however, tools are available through the leasing office for check-out.
- Ability to perform basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
- Experience working in older units and handling AC units that use Freon.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with tenants and team members.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks.

Position Type: Full-Time Maintenance Technician
Pay: $18 - $24 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
