Proposed Title: Marine Operations Support Coordinator

 

Job Summary 

The primary responsibility of the Marine Operations Support Coordinator is to assist the Demand Planning department with the execution of fleet acquisition, registration, and insurance as well as marina lease database management agreement coordination for both existing and new locations. This role will be responsible for organizing and tracking the acquired fleet from manufacturers and ensuring all compliance requirements are met including boat registration and insurance enrollment. In addition to supporting fleet initiatives, this role will also need to collaborate with regional General Managers to update marina lease database with the execution and renewal of marina leases for 100+ locations. It is imperative that the person in this role is extremely organized and detail oriented. Success will be measured by meeting the goals and objectives in the following focus areas: 

 

Duties & Responsibilities 

Job Responsibilities: 

            Fleet

  • Support compliance activities such as Boat registration and renewals, insurance enrollment, local and state registration activities
  • Ensure accurate and timely filing of forms related to above mentioned activities
  • Track order status of new boat orders - tracking production and logistic dates.
  • Effectively communicate the status of boat registration and titles
  • Assist with updates of information in the fleet management system (Fleetio) as needed

 

Marina Leases

  • Organize the lease repository and data for ongoing financial analysis purposes  
  • Manage the workflow process to manage existing, new and acquired location leases.  Include stakeholders: legal, operations, finance, fleet and territory directors  
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive calendar – staying ahead of renewal requirements and timing
  • Acquire signatures, providing signed copies to Lessor, Legal and A/P
  • Manage the Certificate of Insurance process (COI) process for each location

 

Qualifications: 

  • College degree preferred or commensurate experience  
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Must be a self-starter and capable of working unsupervised
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Computer literate, spreadsheet experience (e.g., Microsoft Excel) a must, other Microsoft products preferred
  • Familiarity with boats and boating a plus

 

Hours of Operation & Location 

  • This position is a full time (40-hour work week) opportunity with permanent residence in Venice, FL

  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills with an ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively through established channels
  • Strong reading comprehension
  • Work under minimal supervision and demonstrate a results orientation
  • Well-organized, self-motivated, assertive, tenacious by nature, and flexible; willing to accept new responsibilities and grow within role as required
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time with ease by employing strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in PC-based software including Adobe Acrobat Pro, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
