Job Full Description
Hours: 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday
Duties / Responsibilities
- Responsible for de-burr, buff, blend, clean, grind, mask, and polish components/parts in accordance with company quality and production standards.
- Use manual, pneumatic and electric hand tools and machines on a regular basis, working inside the booth to prevent the spread of deburring dust to other products and areas.
- Must wear safety glasses and hearing protection at all times.
- Read and comply with customer and/or FMS drawings.
- Help coordinate work activities within the department to ensure the highest possible productivity and quality.
- Help facilitate the flow of materials, components and paperwork among and within the department to fulfill production schedules.
· Provide assistance as needed in the DA department and all other areas of manufacturing.
- Keep work area neat, clean and organized.
- Adhere to safety and quality standards set forth by FMS, Inc.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Preferred Requirements
· Must be quality-minded and pay close attention to detail
· Must possess ability to follow quality and safety standards
· Must be reliable
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push and pull up to 35 pounds
Experience
· Experience in Lean Manufacturing, AS9100, ISO, preferred.
