JOB SUMMARY
This is a full-service architecture firm, with two offices in SW, Florida, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic architecture firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing large-scale projects from conception to completion. Working alongside a Project Architect, the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating with internal teams, external consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure the successful delivery of complex architecture projects.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Visionary Planning and Design Leadership: Champion project visions from ideation to realization, fostering interdisciplinary collaborations that align with strategic goals.
- Empowering Client Relationships: Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring all communications are clear and stakeholders are aligned with the project’s purpose.
- Strategic Scheduling and Resource Empowerment: Create efficient schedules and empower teams with the necessary tools and support to achieve project milestones.
- Financial Stewardship: Manage budgets to maximize value and align spending with project outcomes and client satisfaction.
- Championing Quality and Compliance: Ensure compliance, uphold quality standards, and promote ethical practices throughout project execution.
- Inspirational Team Leadership: Cultivate a culture of leadership, mentorship, and continuous development with project teams.
- Proactive Risk Management: Anticipate and mitigate risks, safeguarding the project’s vision and firm’s interests.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide project teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of managing complex projects to successful completion, on time and within budget.
- Excellent written, oral, and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Knowledge and experience with Autodesk Revit
- Proficient in project management software and tools
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture or commensurate experience
- 10+ years of experience in project management within the architecture industry
- Licensure in Architecture preferred
