Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour ($1.50/hour shift differential)
Schedule: Sunday - Wednesday, 10:00pm-8:00am

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Spooler. The Spooler will be responsible for operating machinery that rolls wire onto spools in preparation for shipment or further processing. This position requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and tend machines that wind wire onto spools.

Thread wire from supply spool through distributor and tension guides, securing the end to an empty spool.

Monitor machine operation to ensure proper wire winding and automatic shutoff upon reaching specified amounts.

Cut wire after the specified length has been wound using wire cutters.

Inspect machinery daily and report any needed repairs.

Perform preventative maintenance according to the maintenance schedule.

Operate wire machines that twist and join multiple strands to improve strength and uniformity.

Load spools of wire onto the spindle and thread wire through the machine.

Maintain an orderly sequence of jobs and properly label finished products.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Minimum of one year of warehouse or production experience preferred.

Forklift experience is a plus.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes, machines, tools, and basic computer operation.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
