Job Summary:
3rd shift: Sunday-Wednesday 10:00pm-8:00am
Pay rate: $18.00-$19.50/ hour
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Striper. The Striper is responsible for operating equipment to strip insulation from wire and cable products according to customer specifications. This role involves precision, attention to detail, and maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate wire stripping equipment to remove insulation and prepare wires for assembly or further processing.
- Inspect stripped wires for accuracy, ensuring they meet required specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on stripping machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Determine paint flow, viscosity, and coating quality by performing visual inspections.
- Maintains machine based on Preventative Maintenance schedule.
- Tends machine that rolls wire onto spools in preparation for shipment or further processing.
- Threads wire from supply spool or coil through distributor, tension guides, and secures end to empty spool and starts machine.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Minimum of one year of warehouse or production experience preferred.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes, machines, tools, and basic computer operation.
Skills & Abilities:

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize machine malfunctions.

Ability to read, write, and follow basic English instructions.
