Job Full Description
Heavy Forklift Operator (Outdoor Yard)
We are seeking an experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join a busy outdoor materials yard. This is a full-time position with steady hours and opportunities for overtime.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM 3:00 PM (45-50 hrs/week)
Pay: $18-$19/hr depending on experience
Key Requirements:
Experience operating large sit-down forklifts (518 ton capacity)
Familiar with sliding forks (adjustable fork width)
Must be comfortable working in outdoor environments
Ability to read and follow paperwork and material flow processes
Willing to start off the lift to shadow and learn the process before operating machinery
Reliable, safety-focused, and a strong team player
