ASE Certified Mechanic
Long Term – Full Time
Express Employment in Temple Terrace is currently hiring candidates for an ASE Certified Mechanic for a local company in NE Tampa. The position is full-time and has long-term opportunities. The Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. This role requires a deep understanding of automotive systems, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various vehicles. ASE certification(s) validates the mechanic's knowledge and skill in specific areas of automotive repair.

DETAILED SUMMARY:
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify issues with vehicles, including engine problems, electrical systems, brake systems, and other components.
- Identify and order the correct parts for repairs and ensure proper installation. This includes both OEM and aftermarket parts as needed. Manage the appointment calendar, scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling appointments
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of hazardous materials. Assist patients with billing, payments, pre-authorizations, and insurance verifications
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- No Experience required
- ASE certification
- Ability to speak, read, write and comprehend English
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
