Bilingual Safety Supervisor
Long Term – Full Time
Express Employment in Temple Terrace is currently hiring candidates for a safety supervisor for a local company in NE Tampa. The position is full-time and has long-term opportunities. We are seeking an experienced Safety Supervisor to oversee and enhance safety protocols at our concrete plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational health and safety, particularly in industrial settings, and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety among our workforces.

DETAILED SUMMARY:
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with management to establish safety goals and objectives, tracking progress and performance
- Promote a positive safety culture through communication, engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide training resources to employees
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bilingual in both Spanish and English required
- Ability to handle unexpected situations calmly, effectively within the safety protocols
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards relevant to the concrete industry.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
- Previous experience in a supervisor position role
