Bilingual CDL-A Truck Driver
Long Term – Full Time
Express Employment in Temple Terrace is currently hiring candidates for a Bilingual CDL-A Truck Driver for a local company in NE Tampa. The position is full-time and has long-term opportunities. The CDL-A Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods and materials. This role involves driving long distances, adhering to traffic laws, and ensuring timely delivery of cargo. The driver will operate a variety of vehicles, including tractor-trailers, to deliver products across local, regional, or national routes.

DETAILED SUMMARY:
- Safely operate and maneuver trucks with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 26,001 pounds or more
- Transport goods and materials from suppliers to various destinations. The main product for delivery will be beverages.
- Ensure timely delivery of products to customers or warehouses
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and operational readiness
- Report any incidents, accidents, or mechanical problems to the appropriate authorities
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A)
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation laws
- Previous truck driving experience required.
- Ability to speak, read, write and comprehend English and Spanish
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
