Water Softener Technician
Long Term – Full Time
Express Employment in Temple Terrace is currently hiring candidates for a Water Softener Technician position for a local company in NE Tampa. The position is full-time and has long-term opportunities. A Water Softener Technician is responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing water softener systems. Which include diagnosing issues, performing maintenance checks, replacing parts, and educating customers on proper operation and maintenance of their water-softening equipment, often requiring basic plumbing skills and a strong understanding of water treatment systems.

DETAILED SUMMARY:
- The ability to assess the customer needs to determine the appropriate water softener system taking into account size and configuration.
- Install water softener units in appliances with manufacturer guidelines.
- Explain functionality and system operation when needed.
- Conduct routine service calls to inspect, clean, and maintain water softener systems.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, customer information, and system details.
- Manage inventory of parts and supplies.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Experience working with customer service.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs continuously and perform physical tasks.
- Water treatment and softener install required
