HVAC Technician
Long Term – Full Time
Express Employment in Temple Terrace is currently hiring candidates for an HVAC Technician for a local company in NE Tampa. The position is full-time and has long-term opportunities. The HVAC Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The role requires a thorough understanding of HVAC systems, the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex issues, and excellent customer service skills.

DETAILED SUMMARY:
- Install HVAC systems, including air conditioners, heaters, heat pumps, ventilation systems, and refrigeration units.
- Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose problems and malfunctions in HVAC systems and perform repairs or replace defective parts and components.
- Ensure all installations are performed to code and in compliance with manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
- Provide estimates for repair costs and timelines.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Vocational training or certification in HVAC technology is preferred.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
