Machine Maintenance Technician
Long Term – Full Time
Express Employment in Temple Terrace is currently hiring candidates for a Machine Maintenance Technician for a local company in NE Tampa. The position is full-time and has long-term opportunities. A Machine Maintenance Technician performs routine maintenance, diagnoses issues, and repairs industrial machinery and equipment. The technician ensures that all machinery operates efficiently, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.

DETAILED SUMMARY:
- Identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic problems in machines. Use diagnostic tools to pinpoint issues. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Repair or replace defective parts, such as gears, bearings, motors, sensors, and other components. Perform both minor and major repairs as needed.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and ensure that all vehicles and equipment are in optimal working condition.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain diagnoses, necessary repairs, and maintenance recommendations.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Vocational training or certification in diesel technology or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to speak, read, write and comprehend English
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
