Express Employment in Temple Terrace is currently hiring candidates for a Vehicle Installer for a local company in NE Tampa. The position is full-time and has long-term opportunities. In this role, you will be responsible for lighting systems to shelving, and electronic equipment. Help make police vehicles smarter, safer, and more functional.

DETAILED SUMMARY:

Disassemble automotive trim and reinstall without damage
Disassemble automotive body panels and bumper covers to reinstall without damage
Perform factory-like installations of perimeter lighting, lightbars, siren controllers, and speakers
Perform quality installations of push bumpers, vehicle partitions, vehicle storage boxes, computer docking stations, and other police-vehicle related equipment
Clear understanding of DC electrical connections, connectors, and proper routing/wiring of wire harnesses, cleanly and professionally.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

This position requires standing and bending throughout the workday
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) test equipment, including watt meters, connector types, and usages preferred.
Experience as a vehicle installer is required
