We are looking for a highly skilled individual with a strong civil and structural engineering background to conduct inspections of bridges, seawalls, waterfront structures, culverts, and more. This role involves both above and below water inspections, as well as condition assessments and quality control evaluations. You will also prepare detailed technical reports and may engage in structural design and analysis for repair, rehabilitation, or replacement projects. While diving certifications are not required, they would be considered a valuable asset.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct above and below water inspections of various structures, including water control systems, bridges, and culverts.
- Identify structural material damage and assess potential causes.
- Utilize underwater photography and videography to document inspection findings.
- Prepare comprehensive reports detailing structural integrity assessments, damage causes, repair recommendations, and project cost estimates.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop effective repair strategies while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Stay updated on advancements in the underwater inspection field.
- Travel primarily within Florida, with potential opportunities for global project assignments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural design or a related field.
- At least 5 years of engineering experience, primarily in structural inspections.
- Proficiency in CAD software is preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida or the ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire is required.
- Certification from the Association of Diving Contractors International (ADCI) is a plus.
