Job Description
The Erection Foreman is responsible for overseeing all phases of field installation and repair operations, including scheduling, manpower/labor management, safety, and shipping/receiving. This position plays a critical role in ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction for daily field operations, including planning, directing, and coordinating activities.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external personnel to ensure smooth operations.
- Review and implement established installation, Maintenance of Traffic (MOT), and safety plans while maximizing operational efficiency.
- Ensure laborers meet or exceed competency levels required for installation operations.
- Analyze manpower and equipment requirements on a job-by-job basis to optimize resources.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement in operations.
- Promote and enforce adherence to company policies and safety regulations.
- Ensure all safety and installation requirements are met and documented before and after inspections to maintain a safe workplace and deliver high-quality products.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of supervisory experience.
- Certifications in FDOT, CTQP, ACI, NPCA, PCSA, or PCI Quality Control are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices and structural concrete.
- Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and technical expertise.
- Proficiency in safety, quality, productivity, and inventory control.
- Proven ability to lead by example and create accountability.
- Excellent team-building, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel weekly.
- Valid and clean driver’s license.
- Bilingual abilities are strongly preferred.
