HR Specialist

M-F, daytime hours
Brookhaven, GA
Our client is seeking an HR Specialist with strong benefits and talent acquisition experience.
Responsibilities
- The candidate will be responsible for managing the entire hiring process, including retrieving applicant data from the clients PAYCOM HRIS System.
- Sourcing candidates through job boards and social media sites such as LinkedIn, networking and screening resumes.
- Conducting initial interviews, coordinating with hiring managers, and determining the qualified candidates lists for next steps in the interview process.
- Creating interview packets for panel interviews. Preparing packets for new hire orientation.
- Managing job bank questions and providing necessary documents to hiring managers.
- Dispositioning candidates.
- Maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process, including updates on their status
- Will also assist with entry level benefit tasks such as billing reconciliation, flyers, and preparation and assistance with wellness events and materials.
- May be called upon to help cover the front receptionist desk during lunch or rotation.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Good telephone etiquette
- Excellent internal and external customer service
- Ability to draft business correspondence
- Proficient use of search engines and internet use, data entry, and research skills.
- Familiarity with recruitment in reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, conducting prescreens.
- Heavy collaboration with other departments.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to build relationships with hiring managers and candidates and proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
