Job Title: Part-Time Concierge (7PM-11PM, Nights)

Location: Midtown Atlanta, GA 30309
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour

Shift Details:

  • Schedule: Monday – Sunday, 7PM – 11PM
  • Note: This position can be shared between two individuals, reducing the number of evenings required.

Purpose

Our client, an upscale apartment building in Midtown Atlanta, is seeking a reliable and personable Concierge to join their team. The Concierge serves as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and potential residents. The role has a primary focus on package delivery during the holiday season, while also managing calls, providing general community information, and supporting administrative tasks as needed.


Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience

  • Package Delivery: Safely deliver packages to residents’ apartments in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Greeting Visitors: Oversee the community entry area, greet visitors and residents with a warm welcome, and offer beverages to guests.
  • Phone Management: Answer incoming calls within 2-3 rings, providing appropriate community greeting and identification.
  • Message Taking: Accurately take messages with pertinent details (name, number, message, time, date) and ensure timely communication with the intended recipient.
  • Community Information: Provide callers with an overview of community amenities and services. Forward calls as needed to the appropriate associate and notify callers of the transfer.
  • Appointment Management: Assist residents and their families by coordinating appointments, such as for transportation, hairdressers, etc.

Administrative Support

  • Assist the Community Engagement Director and Executive Director with marketing and sales efforts.
  • Provide support in the recruitment process, including assisting the Associate Director/HR Designee.
  • Perform general data entry and other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a concierge or customer service role, ideally in the hospitality industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
    • Must be able to lift packages up to 30 lbs.
