Job Full Description
Express seeks energetic and dependable person to work as a Medical Assistant.
Compensation: $16.50 -$17.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM and Friday's 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Administer vaccines
- Front office assistance
- Back office assistance
Skills Required
Be able to give vaccines, checking patients in, answering phone calls, verifying appointments, scheduling, filing, collecting co-pays and other forms of payment, take vitals, blood pressure, height and weight.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience working in as a Pediatric Assistant
- 1+ years of phlebotomy experience (Must have valid certification).
- Pass a Background and Drug screen
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Have passion for pediatric care,
- have a calm demeanor to speak with kids on their level, and knowledgeable and good at explaining things.
