Express seeks a dependable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Construction Survey Taker. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting surveys on construction sites, ensuring accurate measurements and data collection to support project planning and execution.

Compensation: $19.85 an hour
Schedule
- Monday – Friday - 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Possible 40-50 hours per week
- Weekends as needed
· Key Responsibilities
- Conduct surveys using Total Stations, GPS units, and Theodolites.
- Interpret and mark out construction boundaries based on blueprints and plans using stakes, flags and paint.
- Perform elevation checks and maintain accurate records of survey data.
- Collaborate with construction team members to ensure project accuracy and quality.
- Conduct quality control checks to verify survey results.
Qualifications
- Must pass a drug screen and background check (no violent crimes in the last 7 years).
- 1+ years of relevant experience in surveying or a related field.
- Reliable transportation to and from work and a clean motor vehicle record (no violations).
- Strong understanding of surveying principles and proficiency with survey equipment, stakes, flags, and paint.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
- Ability to stand for long periods, walk long distances on construction sites, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills
