• Job Title:  2nd Shift Supervisor
• Pay: $42,000 - $62,000 BOE
• Location: LaGrange GA 
• Shift: 4:00pm- 2:00am MUST TRAIN ON 1ST SHIFT 

MAJOR FUNCTION: 

1.      Oversee production operations

2.      Take responsibility for supervising entire production process and monitoring production floor employees of 2nd shift

3.      Ensure all materials and supplies needed for smooth production flow

4.      Monitor daily and weekly production goal to achieve

5.      ensure that machines are functional, and the production facilities adhere to safety standards.

6.      Properly organize and direct the production staff to achieve a satisfactory workflow.

7.      Identify areas for improvement and organize training opportunities for their team.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Supervising operations within a facility to achieve higher output
2. Organizing training and educational manuals for the production team
3. Assisting in the recruitment and onboarding of new hires
4. Ensuring compliance with safety and professional standards within a facility
5. Organizing, monitoring, and prioritizing tasks to meet production goals
6. Evaluating various stations of the production operation to ensure optimum efficiency
7. Maintaining communication between employees and senior executives to ensure procedures and policies are well-understood
8. Ensuring the flow of raw materials and other resources

 

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.      Assumes other duties as assigned by Sr. Production Manager.

 

PREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB:

1. Knowledge of manufacturing tools and equipment
2. At least 5 year working experience in manufacturing plant and preferred for automobile experience
3. Excellent organization, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic
5. Ability to create and adhere to production processes
6. Ability to write reports legibly and accurately
7. Relevant training and certification in industrial production, engineering, or any related field
