Job Full Description
Packaging Lead
Pay: $18-$20/HR
Location: Powder Springs
Hours: 6:30am- 3:30pm
This position will lead the team of 3 in packaging. This position will also assist with shipping and loading trucks.
Below are the requirements for this position.
a. Packaging experience of at least 2 years. From small packages for UPS shipments to crating pallets for LTL shipments.
b. Experience with packaging machinery such as, handheld wrapper, powered shrink-wrapping machine, electric and hydraulic pallet jacks and electric poly strapping machines.
c. Forklift experience.
d. Basic computer skills.
e. Must be able to read tape measure.
f. Ability to lift up to 50lbs or more throughout the work day.
g. Experience with hand and power tools such as the following; chop saw, circular saw, pneumatic nailers and staplers, battery powered drills and impacts.
h. Experience with loading trucks using forklift, load bars, ratchet straps and air bags.
i. Able to work overtime – when needed OT will be required
