The Customer Service/ Administrative Assistant facilitates the assigned department's efficient operation by performing various clerical and administrative tasks.

 

Pay:  $20/hour-  Increase after 3 months

Location:  Marietta

Hours: Monday through Friday 8 am – 5 pm 

 

We are looking for someone with a strong background in B2B customer support and office administration.

This person will support the Accounting Manager, Customer Service, HR, and President with various assigned tasks.

*Will be tested on Typing, Excel, Filing, and Customer Service.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Interact with customers via telephone, email, or in-person to provide support and information on an assigned product or service.
• Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers’ problems and concerns.
• Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
• Uses knowledge of a specific product, service, or other assigned area of expertise to answer inquiries or to forward to the appropriate staff.
• Process customer orders
• Schedule outbound shipments and the shipping company calendar
• Work in QuickBooks to process orders, payments, and shipping details.
• Print shipping labels and BOL
• Greet guests in the lobby
• Work closely with accounting to process invoices
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Schedule outbound shipments and manage the shipping calendar
• Create BOL and upload documents in customer portals if applicable
• Data entry Inventory Receipts and bills into QuickBooks
• Track all reporting with production orders in Linear feet that are produced and shipped
• First responder to answering inbound calls from customers and vendors.
• Keep reception area, clean and greet guest
• Maintains filing systems as assigned.
• Retrieves information as requested from records, email, and other related documents
• Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions.
• Maintains office supplies and coordinates maintenance of office equipment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Lite accounting duties

 

Required Skills/Abilities:
• Must be able to work independently and have excellent time management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.

Education and Experience:
• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Two to four years of experience in an administrative or support role.
• Prior supervisory experience a plus
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred plus

Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
