Job Duties for Diesel or Auto Mechanic:

• Use hand and power tools for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations).
• Repair or replace parts (engines, transmissions, electrical systems).
• Maintain accurate repair records and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance repair processes.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficient with automotive tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems and components.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Knowledge of safety protocols in a workshop environment.
• Effective communication and time management skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
• Manual dexterity for handling tools.
• Ability to work in noisy and potentially hazardous conditions.
• Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
