Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is hiring a CDL Truck Driver on behalf of the nation's largest wholesale distributor of building supplies, including roofing, siding, insulation, windows, tools, and more, for their Savannah, GA location.
Job Details
- Rate of Pay: $28-$30 per hour
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Job Responsibilities
- Safely transport products while representing the company professionally.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and adhere to all DOT safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate logbooks, IVMR sheets, pick tickets, and other required documentation.
- Load, secure, and verify products for delivery.
- Process product returns and assist with loading/unloading customer or vendor vehicles.
- Report vehicle maintenance needs to management promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle, warehouse, and office spaces.
Job Requirements
- NCCCO certification required
- CDL Class B License required (Class A preferred)
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
