Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable General Laborer to join our small warehouse crew. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that require attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wrapping Pallets: Ensure pallets are properly wrapped for safe transportation.
- Banding Machines: Operate banding machines to secure items on pallets.
- Labeling Boxes: Apply labels to boxes accurately and efficiently.
- General Assistance: Provide support wherever needed around the warehouse.
- Physical Demands: Preference for candidates who can handle heavy lifting as you may be required to lift cartons.
- Additional Tasks: May involve operating a chop saw for specific tasks.
Requirements
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift heavy cartons and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Reliability: Being on time is not optional; punctuality is essential for this role.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with a small team.
- Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and tasks as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial.
- Familiarity with operating machinery like a chop saw is a plus.
