Job Full Description

Responsibilities:

1. Handling Chemicals: Safely handling raw materials, chemicals, and finished products according to safety guidelines.
2. Mixing and Processing: Assisting in the production or formulation of chemical products by following established procedures.
3. Quality Control: Ensuring the products meet required specifications, including sampling and testing products for quality.
4. Maintenance: Performing basic cleaning and maintenance of equipment, machinery, and work areas to ensure safe and efficient operations.
5. Packaging: Assisting in the packaging and labeling of chemical products for shipment.
6. Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety protocols, including wearing proper protective equipment (PPE) and ensuring that hazardous materials are stored and handled safely.

Skills:

1. Attention to Detail: Being precise in tasks like measuring and mixing chemicals or ensuring quality standards are met.
2. Physical Stamina: The job may require lifting, standing for long periods, and performing repetitive tasks.
3. Safety Awareness: Understanding the proper safety procedures when dealing with chemicals to prevent accidents.
4. Basic Math: Calculating measurements for mixing chemicals or for quality control purposes.
5. Teamwork: Ability to work well with others, especially when following procedures and assisting with tasks on the production floor.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent 
• Experience in Manufacturing or Chemical Industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with OSHA guidelines and Hazardous Materials Handling is an advantage.
