Job Full Description
Are you a skilled Journeyman Mechanic that is looking to find long-term employment? Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a authorized Caterpillar dealer on the island! This company has received federal contract awards with their repair of Caterpillar construction, power, and other heavy equipment across the region.
Pay: $38 - $45/hr.
Location: Waipahu, HI
Schedule: Day shift, full-time hours

Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems in Caterpillar
- Performs minor welding, fabrication, plumbing, and D.C electric repairs
- Removes, installs, reconditions, and repairs engines
- Performs diagnostic tests on engines
- Removes, installs, reconditions, repairs, and makes necessary adjustments on the various hydraulic controls and components
- Perform diagnostic tests on hydraulic systems for operational pressures and flow check
Requirements:
- Must have 5+ years of experience
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Must be Forklift certified (or able to be certified within 60 days)
- Must own hand tools
