Express Employment is seeking a Carpenter for a long term opportunity!
Build and fabricate door frames for a local Door and trim client, be home in time for dinner!
Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Mon - Fri, 6am to 3pm
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Framing Carpenter to join our Client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for measuring, cutting, assembling door frames, loading and unloading when needed. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut materials for door frames according to specifications
- Assemble and install door frames, doors, and hardware
- Inspect and repair existing door frames as needed
- Ensure all installations meet safety standards and building codes
- Work with various materials, including wood, metal, and composite materials
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, contractors, and team members on job sites
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
Requirements:
- Applicable experience as a carpenter
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy materials (50+ lbs.)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
