Do you love data entry and excel in your talent? This is a terrific opportunity for someone that loves to leave work at work while being focused and independent during work hours. We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist. The ideal candidate will have excellent typing skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Position Details
- Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Location: In Office role in Hayden, ID
- Pay: $16.00p/hr with potential for bonus
Responsibilities:
- Transfer data from paper formats into digital files or database systems
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents
- Update existing data in databases
- Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
- Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
- Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position
- Fast typing skills - minimum of 45 WPM
- Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.)
- Basic understanding of databases
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data entry software and systems
- Familiarity with administrative duties
