Job Full Description
About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated Afternoon Janitorial Team Lead to maintain our facilities with integrity and meticulous attention to detail. This role involves supervising, training, and supporting workers with disabilities through person-centered employment programs, while also performing janitorial tasks alongside the crew. You will oversee a team of 3-6 adults with varying abilities and disabilities, providing commercial custodial services in the Coeur d'Alene area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve company objectives
- Perform various cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing
- Ensure all rooms are properly maintained and inspected according to standards
- Address reasonable complaints and requests with integrity and patience
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and be aware of company practices
Qualifications:
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a focus on serving clients
- One year of supervisory experience preferred
- Experience working with people with disabilities preferred
- Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a good driving record
- Clearance for Criminal History, including fingerprinting, employment references, and pre-hire drug screening required
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office Programs for payroll and reports
- Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper
- Strong customer service skills with a guest-focused and friendly attitude
- Excellent prioritization and time management skills
