About the Role: A local Post Falls Company is searching for a Fabricator who will spend the majority of the week day fabricating custom railings for decks and stairs, chimney caps, and HVAC sheet metal for materials. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding sheet metal for HVAC installations, as well as performing a variety of other fabrication and welding tasks. This role requires expertise in TIG, MIG, and Stick welding, as well as proficiency in working with stainless steel, aluminum, and other materials.
You will operate appropriate equipment to put together mechanical structures or parts with a great deal of precision. Your job is important as it provides the foundation for strong infrastructure. Your role is a critical area for incoming and outgoing projects for the clients. Taking the lead on safety reporting and tracking, acting as an internal resource for recommendations for design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize TIG, MIG, and Stick welding techniques.
- Fabricate and weld sheet metal for HVAC installations.
- Willingness to gain industry skills
- Experience in maintaining a safe workspace
- Strong hand-eye coordination
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
