What You’ll Do:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of industrial mechanical equipment throughout our facility. You’ll play a crucial role in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment ranging from Raw Receiving to Stretch Wrapping and the Water Recovery Plant. You’ll be empowered to make decisions and apply your expertise to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet operational goals and maintain open communication.
- Follow company safety, quality, and sanitation standards to ensure a safe work environment.
- Perform a variety of skilled tasks, including painting, plumbing, drywall, and other repairs to maintain and improve facilities.
- Lubricate and maintain equipment such as pumps, motors, and hydraulic systems to ensure optimal function.
- Execute welding tasks, including wire feed, stick, heliarc, and acetylene welding on a variety of materials for repair and fabrication.
- Disassemble and reassemble complex equipment, including pumps, motors, and gearboxes, in the Water Recovery Plant.
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure smooth operation of high-speed cutting equipment used in production.
What You’ll Need:
- 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
- Basic computer skills (Word processing, spreadsheets, and databases).
- The ability to read and interpret technical documentation such as manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, work in tight spaces, and handle various environmental conditions (dust, heights, noise, etc.).
