Quality Assurance Officer – $27-32/HR DOE
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer who will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with environmental laboratory standards and regulations. The daily responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Officer include monitoring laboratory processes, implementing quality control measures, and ensuring adherence to industry and regulatory requirements.
Quality Assurance Officer highlights:
· Oversee quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and lab protocols.
· Develop and implement quality control procedures to maintain the integrity and accuracy of laboratory results.
· Conduct audits, inspections, and assessments to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
· Collaborate with laboratory personnel, management, and regulatory agencies to ensure best practices.
· Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and ensure proper documentation of laboratory activities.
· Establish, audit, and document laboratory procedures to meet applicable regulatory standards.
· Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and controlled documents.
· Oversee certification requirements, accreditation audits, training, and recordkeeping.
· Create a culture of quality and regulatory compliance within the laboratory environment.
What we look for in Quality Assurance Officer:
- BS or MS in a science field required.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in quality assurance within an environmental lab or related field required.
- Chemistry, laboratory, or regulated industry experience required.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, quality control standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and quality management software.
- Strong communication skills to train staff and coordinate compliance initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and other software/databases.
