Cook – $17-20/HR DOE
Express Employment Professionals is seeking skilled and passionate Cook join a team dedicated to delivering exceptional meals and service. This role is ideal for individuals with food preparation experience, as training is available for those eager to learn. The Cook will play a vital role in food preparation, maintaining high-quality standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
This is a seasonal opportunity east of the Valley!
Cook highlights:
· Weekend hours, part-time and full-time scheduling available.
· Monitor station and stock it with necessary supplies.
· Cook menu items in coordination with the head chef and other line cooks.
· Ensure quality and timely preparation of food.
· Chop vegetables, butcher meat, and prepare sauces as needed.
· Clean up station and properly preserve leftover food.
· Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and standards.
What we look for in a Cook:
- Previous cooking experience is a plus, but training is available for entry-level candidates.
- Highly motivated with willingness to learn and be trained in various cooking methods.
- Strong reliability and ability to work scheduled shifts.
- Available to work weekend evenings.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, nutrition regulations, and proper cooking techniques.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to maintain a clean workspace.
- A team-oriented attitude and passion for food quality.
