Environmental Services Technician (EVS) – $17-22/HR DOE
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Technician to ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary environments in healthcare environment. This role requires flexibility, teamwork, and attention to detail while maintaining high cleanliness standards and following sanitation protocols.
This is an evaluation hire opportunity in the Palouse area!
Environmental Services Technician highlights:
· Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6 AM to 2:30 PM.
· Clean and disinfect rooms, workspaces, and equipment according to established protocols.
· Handle and dispose of waste safely and efficiently, including biohazards where applicable.
· Follow safety and health standards to ensure a safe environment for employees and visitors.
· Work with supervisors and team members to meet cleanliness and safety goals.
What we look for in an Environmental Services Technician:
- Must pass a background check, drug test, and meet vaccination requirements.
- Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or environmental services is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
