We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our team specializing in painting agricultural and construction equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an industrial setting, applying various types of coatings to ensure equipment durability, aesthetics, and protection against environmental factors.

Responsibilities:

• Surface Preparation:

  • Prepare equipment surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming to ensure proper adhesion of paint.
  • Inspect surfaces for imperfections or damage and perform necessary repairs before painting.

• Painting and Coating Application:

  • Apply paint, coatings, and finishes using spray guns, rollers, or brushes according to specified thickness and quality standards.
  • Mix paints and coatings to achieve the correct color, consistency, and chemical balance.
  • Ensure proper application of corrosion-resistant primers, topcoats, and sealants for long-lasting protection.

• Equipment Handling:

  • Operate and maintain spray booths, paint guns, compressors, and other painting equipment.
  • Calibrate painting tools and equipment to achieve accurate coverage and quality.

• Quality Assurance:

  • Inspect painted surfaces to ensure an even application, no defects (e.g., runs, drips, or bubbles), and adherence to client specifications.
  • Perform touch-ups and corrections as needed to meet quality standards.

• Safety and Compliance:

  • Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), handling of hazardous materials, and adherence to OSHA standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

• Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in industrial painting, preferably with agricultural or construction equipment.
  • Familiarity with painting large and irregularly shaped objects in an industrial environment.

• Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in using airless and conventional spray equipment.
  • Understanding of paint types, surface preparation techniques, and coating applications.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical specifications.

• Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy equipment for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in a noisy, dusty, or temperature-variable environment.

• Certification in industrial or automotive painting.
• Experience with powder coating or electrostatic painting.
