Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Training: On-the-job training provided
Compensation: $17.00 per hour, paid weekly

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Carol Stream. The ideal candidate will manage customer queries, complaints, and orders, ensuring customer satisfaction through professional and prompt service. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work across multiple channels, including phone, email, and chat. You will process orders, handle customer complaints, and provide feedback to improve the customer service process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers always.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and other channels.
- Process customer orders, forms, applications, and requests accurately.
- Acknowledge and resolve customer complaints by following proper escalation procedures.
- Provide in-depth product knowledge to answer questions effectively.
- Keep detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, feedback, and complaints.
- Coordinate with colleagues across departments to ensure smooth handling of customer issues.
- Send timely emails to clients and provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer systems.
- 1-2 years of recent experience in customer support or a related field.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Comfortable handling multiple customer service platforms (phone, email, chat, etc.).
Physical Demands:
- Requires sitting for extended periods and using a computer.
- Office environment with regular customer interactions through digital and telecommunication channels.
