Job Summary: As a member of our esteemed waiting staff, you will provide exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience. Your role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
- Present menus and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., about portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies).
- Take accurate food and drink orders using a POS ordering system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously.
- Ensure tables are set up correctly and maintain cleanliness throughout service.
- Address any guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Process payments and handle cash or credit transactions accurately.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, wine list, and daily specials.
- Uphold the restaurant’s standards for quality, service, and cleanliness.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food and beverage pairings and service etiquette.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Working Hours:
- Shifts available from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
