Job Full Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards. The MIG Welder will work with blueprints, schematics, and work orders to complete projects efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform MIG welding operations on a variety of metal components.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

Set up welding machines and select appropriate settings for different materials and thicknesses.

Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify and fix defects.

Use grinders and other tools to prepare and finish welds as needed.

Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and maintain a clean work area.

Work collaboratively with other team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines.

Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment.

Operate forklifts, hoists, and other material-handling equipment when necessary.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a MIG Welder or similar role.

Proficiency in MIG welding techniques and use of related tools.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines for welding operations.

Ability to stand for long periods of time is required.
Work Environment:
