Job Description: Are you an enthusiastic individual looking for a stable and fulfilling career? We are seeking both entry-level candidates with basic industrial skills and experienced fabricators/installers to join our team as Installer/Service Technicians. This role involves installing and servicing thermoplastic hoods, ducts, fans, fume scrubbers, process tanks, and custom process equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and maintain thermoplastic equipment at customer locations.
- Operate plastic hand welders, extrusion welders, lifts, routers, drills, saws, diagnostic equipment, and hand tools.
- Construct, rig, erect, assemble, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment.
- Perform physically demanding tasks in various industrial environments.
- Travel within the Chicagoland area with occasional out-of-town assignments.
- Maintain a clean driving record.
Qualifications:
- Service Tech Experience/Mechanical
- Basic industrial mechanical, HVAC, controls, or piping skills are highly beneficial.
- Ability to use basic hand tools.
- Positive, flexible, and easygoing attitude.
- Willingness to work more than 50 hours per week, including some Saturdays (overtime and double time pay available).
