Job Title: CDL Driver - Grain Hauling

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable CDL Driver with a CDL Class A license to join our team. As a CDL Driver specializing in grain hauling, you will be responsible for transporting grain from various locations to designated destinations, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) with a CDL Class A license.
- Load and unload grain from trucks using appropriate equipment and procedures.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of grain.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving and operate the vehicle in a defensive manner.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safe operation.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, farmers, and other team members.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Ensure the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in grain hauling or a similar position is preferred.
- Ability to operate a variety of grain hauling equipment, including trailers and hoppers.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and safety guidelines for commercial driving.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy loads.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays, as required.
