Job Description:
As an Event Set-Up Laborer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of various events by assisting our permanent crew with the assembly and dismantling of temporary walls and flooring. This physically demanding position requires heavy lifting (not exceeding 50 pounds) and a strong work ethic. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:
  • Assist the permanent crew in assembling and dismantling temporary walls and flooring.
  • Help organize the arena environment to prepare for special events.
  • Follow directions from superiors and work quickly and efficiently to meet event schedules.
  • Aid in the quick turnover of flooring and adapt to various tasks as needed.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and hand carts to transport flooring and temporary walls.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
  • Physical strength and endurance to perform heavy lifting (not exceeding 50 pounds).
  • Adaptability and a willingness to tackle various tasks as required.
  • Ability to follow directions and work well as part of a team.
  • Efficiency in completing tasks to meet tight event schedules.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and hand carts is a plus.
