Job Full Description
The CNC Manual Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining manual CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to manufacture precision parts according to blueprints and specifications. The operator will work with both manual and CNC equipment to produce high-quality components while ensuring adherence to safety standards, production schedules, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Setup & Operation:
- Set up and operate CNC manual machines (lathes, milling machines, grinders, etc.) as per the job specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine the appropriate machining process.
- Select and install the correct tooling, fixtures, and machine attachments.
- Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate production and maintain tight tolerances.

Quality Control:
- Measure and inspect finished products using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Compare finished parts to engineering specifications to ensure product quality.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues related to machine operation or product quality, making necessary adjustments or repairs.

Maintenance & Safety:
- Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning to ensure optimal operation.
- Monitor machines for wear and tear, and report any malfunctions or necessary repairs to the supervisor.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Keep the work area organized and clean.

Documentation:
- Complete required production reports, inspection logs, and quality assurance records.
- Maintain accurate records of production outputs, materials used, and machine maintenance.
Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in operating CNC manual machines (lathes, milling machines, grinders, etc.).
- Strong understanding of G-code, M-code, and CNC programming (basic knowledge preferred but not required).
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

Experience:
- Minimum of [X] years of experience in CNC/manual machine operation or a related field.
- Experience with machining a variety of materials, including metals, plastics, and composites.
