Service Technician | Taylorville, IL | 8AM – 4:30PM | Monday – Friday | $17-$21/hr
An authorized distributor of recreational vehicles and service parts with a distribution center/service center in Taylorville, IL has an immediate need for a Service Technician. The company serves a customer base that spans most of Illinois. This is a great opportunity with a growing operation.
Qualifications for Service Technician
- Experience in small engine repair work
- Mechanically inclined
- Troubleshooting ability
- 12 volt automotive systems knowledge would be a plus
- Other automotive experience could be considered
- CDL Class "A license is a big plus
Responsibilities for Service Technician
- Perform repairs on golf carts
- Track repairs and parts on work orders
- Wash and clean up returned vehicles
- Update inventory in computer system
- Use reference manuals for parts look-up
- Test and install batteries
- Perform general shop maintenance
