Experienced Maintenance Technician | 1st Shift |$35.00/hour | Belvidere
A Global Metals company is searching for a 1st Shift Experienced Maintenance Technician. Responsibilities
The Maintenance Technician inspects, troubleshoots, and conducts repairs and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in heavy manufacturing or equivalent experience
- Ability to read blue-prints
- Experience with Hydraulics
- Experience with Pneumatics
- Experience with Electrical (240V)
- Knowledge of electrical applications up to 480 volts
- Experience with welding and torch
- Previous forklift and crane experience
- Previous experience performing preventive maintenance on industrial equipment
- Experience with maintenance and repair
- Strong mechanical abilities and knowledge of hand tools
- Experienced with industrial electrical repairs including troubleshooting and repair of electrical valves and switches, A/C - D/C drives and motors, PLC''s and 480 Volt 3 phase electrical
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Requires walking, standing, climbing, crawling, bending
• Requires regular lifting 20-50lbs or greater
