Fabricator Operator | 2nd shift | M-T 2:30 PM-1:00 AM | $21.30/hour | Dekalb, IL
Company Overview:
Join our team as a Fabricator Operator! We are dedicated to safety, quality, and productivity, and we are seeking a skilled individual to operate fabrication equipment in our heavy industrial manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and productively set up and operate fabrication equipment, including the Fabricator and Gag Bar, following standard operating procedures.
- Process all transactions accurately and in a timely manner in company systems.
- Perform first, in-process, and final inspection using various measuring instruments to ensure product quality meets specifications.
- Complete any other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Physical Requirements:
- MUST be able to be on your feet for 10+hrs
- Unloading sheets and other duties as assigned
- Standing, sitting, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Repetitive motion
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- 1-2+ years of experience in heavy manufacturing environment.
- Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
- Mechanically inclined with a strong understanding of industrial machinery.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work well with others in a collaborative environment.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
- Must be self-directed and have the ability to work with minimal supervision.
